In Sorry!, players move their pawns based on the number rolled on the dice. Each player takes turns rolling the dice and moving one of their pawns accordingly. Players can move their pawns forward along the track in a clockwise direction.
Players have the option to start a pawn out of the starting area with a roll of 1 or 2 before moving any other pawns. Pawns can only move out of the starting area with an exact roll of the dice. Pawns can jump over other pawns of the same color but cannot jump over pawns of a different color.
Players can split the value of the dice roll between two pawns if they wish. If a player's pawn lands on a space occupied by another player's pawn, the moving player can bump the other player's pawn back to their starting area.
Players must move their pawns the full value of the dice. If a player rolls a number that they cannot use, their turn is skipped.
The goal of Sorry! is to be the first player to move all four of their pawns around the board and into their home base.

How to strategically use your cards in Sorry!?
- Use your Sorry card wisely: The Sorry card is your key to moving your pawns out of Start and can also be used to send an opponent's pawn back to their Start. Use this card strategically to block opponents from reaching Home or to advance your own pawns.
- Use your Number cards strategically: Number cards allow you to move your pawns forward, so try to use them in a way that maximize your chances of reaching Home. Consider the current board layout and plan your moves carefully to outmaneuver your opponents.
- Plan ahead: Think about the possible moves that your opponents may make and try to anticipate their strategy. This will help you position your pawns strategically and avoid getting sent back to Start by a Sorry card.
- Utilize your pawn movement options: In Sorry!, you have the option to move one pawn 4 spaces or split the move between two pawns. Depending on the board layout and the positions of your pawns, choose the option that will give you the best advantage.
- Be mindful of your opponents' pawns: Keep an eye on your opponents' pawns and try to block their path to Home. Use your cards strategically to send their pawns back to Start or to slow them down in their progress.
- Take risks when necessary: Sometimes it's worth taking a risk to gain an advantage. If you have a chance to send an opponent's pawn back to Start or to move closer to Home, consider taking the risk to play a card that might put your pawn in a vulnerable position.
- Be flexible: Be prepared to adapt your strategy based on the cards you draw and the moves of your opponents. Stay flexible and be willing to change your approach if a better opportunity presents itself.
How to use the "11" card in Sorry!?
In Sorry!, the "11" card allows the player to move one of their pawns either 1 or 11 spaces around the board. The player can choose to move one of their pawns 1 space forward, or they can move one of their pawns 11 spaces forward.
To use the "11" card, the player simply plays the card on their turn and then moves one of their pawns accordingly. The player must follow the usual rules of Sorry! when moving their pawn, such as moving counterclockwise around the board and moving their pawn onto a space occupied by an opponent's pawn to send that opponent's pawn back to their start area.
Overall, the "11" card can be a powerful card to use in Sorry! as it allows the player to strategically move their pawns around the board and potentially catch up to their opponents or quickly move their pawn to safety.
What is the role of the deck of cards in Sorry!?
In Sorry!, the deck of cards is used to determine how far a player can move their pawns around the board. Players draw a card on their turn and follow the instructions on the card, which may include moving a pawn out of Start, moving a pawn forward a certain number of spaces, or switching places with an opponent's pawn. The deck of cards also includes special cards like Sorry! cards that allow players to send an opponent's pawn back to Start. Ultimately, the deck of cards adds an element of chance and strategy to the gameplay of Sorry!.
